According to The Register, James Byrne paid a total of $7,764 to the Town of Madison for calling in a bomb threat in 2010, said to go off at a political gala for Linda McMahon being held at the home of Republican Town Chairman Tom Banisch and Chamber of Commerce President Eileen Banisch.
Volunteer firefighters responded to the call, the article says, adding that the court said the $530 would cover the fire company's assistance.
