Vote Tuesday! Polls Open Until 8 p.m.
Voters will vote at the Madison Senior Center (District 1) or Brown Middle School (District 2).
Remember to set aside time Tuesday, May 14, 2013 to vote in the referendum. Voters will be asked to vote yes or no on the town budget and on the school budget. The specific measures are below.
Polls open at 6 a.m. and will stay open until 8 p.m.
Voters will vote at the Madison Senior Center (District 1) or Brown Middle School (District 2), as specified below:
DISTRICT 1
Madison Senior Center
29 Bradley Road
All registered voters who live at properties on the EVEN numbered side of Green Hill Road and South.
DISTRICT 2
Dr. Robert H. Brown Middle School
980 Durham Road
All registered voters who live at properties on the ODD numbered side of Green Hill Road and North.

The legal voters of the Town of Madison are hereby warned and notified that the referendum date for voting on the Town and Education Budgets has been set for Tuesday, May 14, 2013 for the following purposes:
- To consider and take action on the proposed Town Government Budget of the Town of Madison and the recommendations of its Board of Finance for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2013 and ending June 30, 2014 in the amount of $22,142,877 as approved by the Board of Finance and published in The Source on May 2 and May 9, 2013.
- To consider and take action on the proposed Education Budget for the Town of Madison and the recommendations of its Board of Finance for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2013 and ending June 30, 2014 in the amount of $51,880,864 as approved by the Board of Finance and published in The Source on May 2 and May 9, 2013.
“SHALL THE TOWN GOVERNMENT BUDGET OF THE TOWN OF MADISON FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 2013 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2014 IN THE AMOUNT OF $22,142,877 BE APPROVED?”
“SHALL THE EDUCATION BUDGET OF THE TOWN OF MADISON FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 2013 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2014 IN THE AMOUNT OF $51,880,864 BE APPROVED?”
Electors residing in the First Voting District shall vote at the Madison Senior Center, 29 Bradley Road in Madison, Connecticut.
Electors residing in the Second Voting District shall vote at the Robert H. Brown Middle School, 980 Durham Road in Madison, Connecticut.
Absentee ballots will be available from the Town Clerk’s office at the Madison Town Campus, and will be counted centrally at the Madison Town Campus.Voters approving a resolution will vote “Yes” and those opposing said resolution will vote “No.”
