Jeffrey Hamburg Goes To Jail

Former Madison resident Jeffrey Hamburg, person of interest in 2010 slaying, was sent to jail on Wednesday

Jeffrey Hamburg, formerly of Madison, failed to pay any money toward the $138,000 he is obligated to contribute to his ex-wife's estate and was sent to jail on Wednesday, reported the New Haven Register.

Hamburg's ex-wife, Barbara Hamburg, 48, was found dead in the yard of her Madison home in March 2010. According to the article, "Jeffrey Hamburg’s defense lawyer, Hugh Keefe, identified Hamburg as a “person of interest” in the killing. No one has been charged in the crime."
