National Weather Services Says There May Be Snow Saturday, Sunday

Otherwise, weekend will be cold but not too windy

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Weather Service forecast for overnight and Friday is clear with temperatures in the 20's and 30's with wind between 5 and 10 miles per hour. Friday night might be a little cloudy, but then it is supposed to become clear. The forecast for the rest of the weekend says there is a possibility of snow Saturday and Sunday, but since a low pressure system may be coming in, that means the outlook is still a little uncertain. Here are the details for the weekend from NOAA NWS, as of Thursday night:

  • Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 38. West wind around 7 mph.
  • Saturday Night: A slight chance of snow after 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. North wind between 3 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
  • Sunday: A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 34. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
