More than 100 people attended the Republican Town Committee gala Sunday evening, says Republican Town Committee Chairman Tom Banisch.

Attendees included State Reps. Noreen Kokoruda, and Chris Coutu. Coutu is running for Congress along with Daria Novak.

Also in attendance were candidates for local office from Madison, Branford, Killingworth and Durham.

Pem, Great article on the Republicans get together. It was a lovely day for it. Wasn't the Democrats similar event on Friday on Longshore Lane?

It was a fun event AND several people volunteered and joined my Congressional campaign - so that was an added bonus! We Republicans are on the move. If you couldn't attend I hope you still will consider contributing to the Madison Republican Town Committee and help support our local candidates this year as well as my campaign for US Congress in 2012. We need to put people back to work, reduce public debt, and limit the size of government so that prosperity will return to Connecticut. We are the most in debt state in the nation, per capita. Together, we can solve these problems and bring business back to our state.

MTR, thanks go to Tom Banisch, who collected the photographs, and sent them in along with information about who attended. I hope to hear from Democrats soon about their gathering which, yes, was Friday evening at a spectacular location on Longshore Lane. I was not able to attend either event, but I enjoyed seeing the photos as well.
