Guilford Man To Be Sentenced June 1 For Illegal Gambling, Tax Charges

Dominic J. Acquarulo Jr., 42, pleaded guilty to the charges on Tuesday

 

A 42-year-old Guilford man will be sentenced on June 1 for running an illegal gambling business, willfully failing to timely file a tax return and filing a false tax return, the New Haven Register reported.

Dominic J. Acquarulo Jr. pleaded guilty to the charges in court on Tuesday.

The U.S. attorney for the District of Connecticut, David B. Fein, told The Register that the Guilford man could be sentenced to nine years in jail and be charged up to $600,000 in fines.
