The Madison Board of Finance has initiated its review of the town and school proposed budget for 2012-2013. The town and Board of Education have presented a combined requested budget for 2012-2013 that represents a 2.17 increase of $1,532,605 over the 2011-2012 approved budget of $70,721,038.
After a series of discussions, the Board of Finance will present its recommended budget on March 22, 2012. It will be presented to town voters on the recommended referendum date of May 16, 2012.
