A minor was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital Monday afternoon after the teen's car flipped over on Bradley Corners Road, near Dover Lane and Thames Way.
North Madison Volunteer Fire Co. Deputy Chief Doug Minges said he did not know if the teen was injured, but that it is a matter of procedure to have people under 18 who are involved in an accident transported to the hospital, if they are not accompanied by an adult at the time.
The car was flipped over on to its roof, Minges said.
The call was reported around 12:20 p.m., according to Madison 911.
Madison Patch readers on Facebook said school buses, on their way home after schools were dimissed early due to the bad weather, had to be detoured around the accident.
