Small Nondescript Beast With Horns, Smiling Oliver Stolen From Downtown, Police Say

This is from the Madison Police Department: 

The Madison Police Department is currently investigating the theft of two bronze statues.  The statues belong to the Holycroft Foundation which sponsors the display of artwork throughout what is known as the Madison Mile.  The two statues have a collective value of $19,500.  They were stolen from a display outside the Madison Stop & Shop on Samson Rock Road sometime between May 15th & May 16th. Pictures and dimensions of the statues are listed below.  If anyone has any information they are asked to contact Sgt. Neal Mulhern at (203)318-3040 or Det. Chris Sudock (203)318-3041. 

Statue 1: Oliver, is 48" x 48' x 7' and approximately 50 lbs
Statue 2: A Quiet, is 40" x 9" x 5' and approximately 20 lbs
