Purse Snatched In Stop & Shop Parking Lot Tuesday Night; Police Seek Suspect

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 20 years old, with a thin build and dark curly hair. The suspect left the scene in a dark green 4-door sedan, possibly a Pontiac Bonneville, with Connecticut license plates.

 

This information was provided by the Madison Police Department:

Madison Police Department is investigating a purse snatching that occurred in the Stop & Shop parking lot, 136 Samson Rock Road, Madison on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at approximately 8:00pm.  The suspect approached a 55 year old female [who was walking] in the parking lot, and while [he was] seated in a vehicle, grabbed her purse and fled from the area.  The woman was uninjured in the incident.  A light brown purse and its contents were taken.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 20 years old, with a thin build and dark curly hair. The suspect left the scene in a dark green 4-door sedan, possibly a Pontiac Bonneville, with Connecticut license plates.  Witnesses stated that the last three characters of the license plate were “ZAC”
