Police Blotter: Report From Polson Middle School Of Minor Consuming Liquor

Incident Not Current Or Ongoing, Police Say

Madison police have reported being called to Polson Middle School on Thursday, Feb. 3 at 11:46 a.m. on a report of  “a minor consuming liquor.” The police log says no report was required and the call was cleared around 2:30 p.m.

Based on the information that was received, no action was taken and no arrests were made, police say. They said the incident was not current or ongoing.

School Superintendent David J. Klein responded to an inquiry about the report, on behalf of himself and Polson Middle School Principal Frank Henderson, by saying “Federal Student Privacy Laws prevent us (school district staff and BOE) from sharing information regarding this matter with parents, students, the community and the media.”
