Police Blotter: May 15, 2013 To June 4, 2013

The Madison Police Adult Arrest Log includes charges made by the Madison Police Department. The charges are not a finding of guilt. The people who have been arrested are entitled to due process during which it will be the government’s burden to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

That about 2,400+ man hours of work paid for by our tax payers and that's all they have to show for it? 20 days X 24 hours a day X 5 officers average per shift. (Patrol, Detectives & Supervisors) And this is the busy summers season for traffic and crime! Hope they will be able to find something to keep busy in the slower Fall, Winter and Spring seasons.

Police officers provide many more services than arresting people, Johnny Dough. This article also doesn't include the more mundane traffic tickets, and investigations that didn't lead to an arrest.
