at 7:40 a.m. cleared the scene of this morning's accident and all lanes are cleared along I-95 north in Branford, according to the state DOT's Twitter feed.
The was also called to the scene of the accident, which occured at about 6:45 a.m. this morning, according to an EHFD alert.
Around 7 a.m. an SUV overturned on I-95 north between exits 52 and 53 were reported. A passer-by said an oil tanker was also stopped at the scene. The left lane of the highway is closed for a period of time.
Police and fire crews responded to the scene scene. There is no word yet on whether anyone was injured.
