Madison and Guilford Police Officers Run for a Good Cause

Officers run for the Special Olympics

Madison and Guilford police officers ran five miles on Friday afternoon as part of the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.

The torch run helps raise money for Special Olympics of Connecticut.

Cmdr. John Rich of the Madison Police Department told the New Haven Register that the run allows the officers to take part in an event that strengthens their relationship with the community while contributing to a cause.
