LSD, Hashish, Opiates, Cash Discovered During Routine Traffic Stop In Madison

Car stopped in area of Nortontown Road and Wildwood Avenue for failure to drive in proper lane.

 

On Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 1:31 a.m., members of the Madison Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Nortontown Road and Wildwood Avenue, Madison, for a violation of Connecticut General Statutes 14-236: Failure to Drive in the Proper Lane.  The vehicle was occupied by three individuals, one of whom is a juvenile.  Two of the individuals were placed under arrest. 

A substantial amount of cash; multiple types of narcotics, including: Marijuana, LSD, Hashish, and Opiates; and numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia were recovered within the vehicle, and on the person of the individuals within the vehicle.
