Reports are just coming in that a tractor trailer has jackknifed on I95 south, near exit 45 (Long Wharf Drive) in New Haven.
The accident occured around 6 a.m. There are reports that the tractor trailer is carrying more than 100 gallons of diesel fuel and that the fuel tanks could be breached.
There are no reports at this time if any other vehicles were invloved or if anyone was injured.
The view from the Connecticut Department of Transportation traffic cameras indicate that the three left lanes are now open, for travel. The truck appears to have gone off the road onto the shoulder, blocking the right lane.
