State Police are investigating a bank robbery at the Liberty Bank at 357 Main Street in nearby Durham.
The robbery happened shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday, according to police.
According to reports, a man wearing a wig, sunglasses and a hooded sweatshirt walked into the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money. The suspect left the bank and got into an older, red Volvo station wagon with out of state license plates.
The investigation into the robbery continues.
Last Friday, the TD Bank branch on Main Street in Durham was robbed. Police have not made an arrest in the case.
