Cops Say Man May Be Changing Room Peeping Tom

Rhode Island man arrested and charged with spying on people in mall changing rooms.

Today, Waterford Police arrested a Rhode Island man who allegedly spied on people while they changed in dressing rooms at the Crystal Mall.

Earlier today, Waterford Police arrested Christopher Gribble, 40, of Bradford, RI for two counts of disorderly conduct, two counts of voyeurism and one count of risk of injury to a minor. Gribble was arrested after allegedly attaching a mini-digital camera to the top of his shoe and putting it under the changing room doors within clothing stores at the Crystal Mall on at least two occasions in September, according to a police press release.

Gribble was identified after police released a surveillance photo of him to several media outlets (including Patch), and police gained several leads as a result of that release. Gribble was released on cash bond pending an October 29th appearance in New London Superior Court.
