Car Fire Downtown Quickly Extinguished By Fire Department

Fire Breaks Out In Engine Compartment Of Car On Bradley Road, Right Between Lumber Store And Kitchen Store Shortly Before 2 p.m.

A fire in the engine compartment of a car broke out shortly before 2 p.m. on Bradley Road in downtown Madison Wednesday.

The fire, right between Tuxis True Value Lumber and Kitchens By Gedney, was quickly contained by the fire department and the car was towed to the side of the road.

No one was injured, police said.
