Accident On I-95S In Guilford Cleared Around 10 a.m.; Traffic Still Backed Up On Highway And Route 1
Multi Car Accident Cleared But Could Take A While For Traffic To Get Back To Normal, State Police Say
A multi-car accident that took place around 8:30 a.m. was cleared around 10 a.m., according to Connecticut State Police.
The accident caused backups on I-95 southbound, and on Route 1 in town, bringing traffic to a standstill early morning Tuesday. Police said it will probably take some time for traffic to return to normal.
State police say the accident resulted in injuries, but no fatalities.
