Planning and zoning commission

I would like to see some follow up on the rationale for the Republican Town Committee's decision not to reappoint Christine Poutot to the PZC.  I do not know Ms. Poutot, but from what I have read she has a wealth of experience and is well respected by her PZC colleagues.  What I've seen are comments like a need for "new faces" and "fresh blood".  If that's the case, there are probably other long serving Republicans that should resign or be replaced.  The three Republican members of our Board of Selectmen rubber stamped the decision of the RTC Chair Mr. Banish, thereby depriving our town of this woman's experience, leadership and perspective.  I think the town is entitled to an explanation that passes the straight face test.
