Nominate Your Favorite Place To Take Mom Out To Eat For Mother's Day!

Do you go to the same place every year, try a new place, or cook a meal at home? Mother's Day is coming up and we'd love to have your suggestions!

We want you to be prepared this Mother’s Day. That’s right Mother’s Day is just a few Sundays away, May 13, 2012, to be exact. It’s time to start thinking about writing that card, picking up something for Mom and planning where to take Mom to eat on her day. Maybe you have a special place you go to year-after-year, maybe you always try someplace new, or maybe your choice is a family meal at home.

In this week’s readers’ choice we want to know where you treat your mom to a meal in Madison?

Here’s how it works.

  • We invite you to post your nominations in the comments below.
  • We hope you'll also spread the word about this to your friends on Facebook and Twitter and get them involved.
  • Submit comments until 5 p.m. Wednesday.

  • We'll post a poll with the nominees Thursday morning.
  • You'll be able to vote till Friday at 9 a.m.
  • On Saturday, we announce the winner.

This review is all about you—your ideas, your feedback and your voice—so we hope you will chime in and check back.

In Chester? That does look good. I'm thinking that this one might just be Madison restaurants, but if we get a lot of out of town recommendations, I might reconsider. Thanks for the suggestion. I did not know about this one. Here's the link for anyone who wants to check it out ... http://www.thebrushmill.com/

If it's a beautiful day, and it often is, I hate to be indoors waiting in line for a table with lots of crowds. My vote is for a big picnic basket with a baguette, some cheese and grapes, and salads from Bradley and Wall. Throw the dog in the car and go to Bauer Park or Surf Club, or sit at our own table outside.
