Five Things: Moms' Talk At 3, Garden Club, John Himmelman, Cricket Radio, Are You A Friend Of Hammonasset? And More

Five things you might want to know Wednesday, March 16th

First thing: I just got back from a Madison Garden Club meeting and I learned that they are very welcoming to new members, that they do some amazing civic work around town, and that in addition to growing beautiful flowers, they make the cutest flower cupcakes I have ever seen. Check in later this week for more details, a video, pictures of the tiny flower cupcakes, and information about how to become a member.

Second thing: Tonight at 7 p.m. author John Himmelman will visit R.J. Julia to share his love of nature and to discuss his new nonfiction work, Cricket Radio. Read more.

Third thing: The Friends of Hammonasset will hold their annual meeting this evening.
