Dorothy Smith Wadelin, 77, a longtime resident of Meriden, moved to Madison, CT in 1994, died July 28, 2012, , according to the obituary from Swan Funeral Home.
She was born February 10, 1935 to George A. and Fredricka (Wiegert) Smith. Dorothy is preceded in death by parents and son, George Wadelin of Wallingford. She is survived by son, Fred Wadelin of Madison with whom she resided and three grandchildren, Jaclyn Denise Wadelin, Christine G. Wadelin, and Scott James Wadelin.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering 5 to 6 PM Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Road in Madiosn.
