The Madison Historical Society owns three properties; the Allis-Bushnell House, on the historic Boston Post Road in Madison, Lee's Academy on the Madison Green, and the secluded Smallpox Cemetery located a short distance from the west bank of the East River in Guilford.
MHS offers educational programs in October and April for 2nd and 5th grade elementary school students of Madison. The Frederick Lee Lecture Series happens during the months of January, February and March. June is the Connecticut Open House Day, and this August 25th will be our 41st Annual Antiques Fair on the Madison Green.
