The Exchange Club of Madison would like thank all for participating in 34th Madison Exchange Club Fourth of July Parade. It was a great event with a total of 108 groups and vehicles participating including 15 marching and musical groups.

Special thanks to all of the to Daniel Hand High Athletic Department for turning out a very impressive group of many of the winning teams this year as well as Madison youth groups including the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Brownies, Little League, Youth Football and Cheerleaders.

I do believe we had the largest participation by our young folks in many years; it was great to see. I’m very excited more of the town’s youth are getting involved in this great Madison tradition. Also, the collection of antique and classic cars was great… with the highlights being the CT Antique Police Car Group as well as over 25 Corvettes from the Corvette Club of CT.
I would like to thank Dr. Marty Sklaire for being our Grand Marshal this year. He has certainly had a very positive affect on the youth of our town over his many years of service.
