SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 29th, 2012

The Madison Health Department in conjunction with Household Hazwaste Central and assisted by the volunteer efforts of the North Madison Volunteer Fire Company will conduct a collection of household hazardous wastes from 9am to Noon on Saturday, September 29th, 2012 at Hammonasset State Park.

Residents from Madison, Guilford, Branford, and North Branford are invited to bring their household hazardous wastes for disposal.  This is the perfect time to responsibly rid your house of various chemicals, paints, oils, pesticides etc. without driving to New Haven.

Please do not bring latex paint, propane tanks, crankcase oil, antifreeze or car batteries.

For more information on what to bring and what not to bring see the brochures at Town Campus,  Scranton Library, The Depot and various other locations in Madison, visit the Town of Madison web site at www.madisonct.org or the Water Authority web site at www.rwater.com/hazwaste.
