Community Conversation

Community Conversation at Eliot School on Saturday, March 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This next Saturday, March 10, Clinton Public Schools through a grant received by Best Beginnings, Clinton's preschool initiative, invites Clinton residents to come to Eliot School from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. At that time, participants will have an opportunity to discuss the question, "Clinton's Kids, Their Futures: How Should We Educate and Support Them?" Moderators will lead groups of people in talking about how the schools can provide a quality education, how the community can provide a foundation of support, and how parents contribute to children's education. Follow up groups will be able to explore ways to implement ideas that are generated at this event. Future conversations are also possible.

We welcome walk-ins at this event.  Breakfast will be served and child care is available. For more information or to register ahead of time, call 860-669-7246,

We have lots of fun activities planned for the children. Miss Kathleen from HCH Library will come to entertain us. I hope to see lots of familiar faces. Coralie Williams

I'm so sorry I'm going to be away this weekend! It is so important that we work together to make a positive investment in our children's lives. Thank you, Linda, for all you do! Cynthia Daley
