DHHS band parents are planning a tag sale for Saturday, November 17, 2012. The sale will be raising funds to help cover travel expenses for the band’s upcoming trip to, and performance at, the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
The tag sale will be held on Saturday, November 17th from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm at the American Legion at 43 Bradley Rd. From now until November 16th, we are accepting donations to sell at the sale. The following items do particularly well as they are recycled back into the community:
- Sporting Goods & Gear
- Tools & Yard Equipment
- Musical Instruments
- Video Games & Equipment
- Sports Fan Clothing & Memorabilia
- Legos of any kind
- Gently-used dorm items e.g. mini-fridges, lamps, etc.
- Functioning computer equipment, software, MP3 players
- Costume Jewelry
- Collectibles, Vintage and Antique items
- What have you? Email us and let us know!
Donations may be dropped off at 101 West Overshore Dr. (off of Neck Rd.) on any dry day. There will be a DHHS BAND flyer on the garage door so you know you have the right place. Please DO NOT drop off donations at the American Legion.
Parents of band members may also participate by manning their own tables and selling their own goods. We also need volunteers to help transport the items the night before, to set up and to clean up.
