Join the Nature Detective Squad at Bauer Park!

Science classes for ages 4 - 6.

Children ages 4-6 are invited to explore the natural world.  There are two options:

Ocean Detectives is a drop-off program on Tuesdays beginning January 8th.  The ocean will come to Bauer Park as we learn about plants and animals that live in the sea.  From snails to whales, we’ll use our senses to discover how marine animals eat, move and protect themselves.  Each class includes a story, an art project and hands-on exploration of live and dried specimens.

Nature Detectives is a drop-off program on Thursdays beginning January 10th.  From butterflies to birds, junior scientists learn about the diversity of life at Bauer Park. We focus on a different topic each week, searching for clues and conducting experiments to unlock the secrets of nature. Each class includes a story, experiment or craft, and lots of outdoor exploration.
