Thank You from Island Avenue School PTO

This year's Island Avenue Pumpkin Fair was a huge success and the PTO achieved its goal of raising funds to support curricular and co-curricular activities. We couldn't have done it without help from our incredible volunteers, donors, and families who took part in this wonderful annual fundraising event! A big thanks to Bounce! Fun Center for donating the bounce house and 1 2 3 Grow With Me for use of their games. Children tried their luck at the cake walk, had their faces painted, were booed in the Spook House, enjoyed hay rides, and created some real Halloween treasures to take home.

We are grateful for our committed and enthusiastic crew of parent volunteers and a huge thank you to Kathleen O’Connell and Stacy Bungiro for chairing such an amazing event! Thank you to our fabulous DJ, Rachel Salvo, who got the crowd moving and hopping. And to the D.H.H.S. Interact Group and Art Criddle who organized all of the high school volunteers.
 
We would also like to thank our amazing group of donors for their continued support of public education in Madison. Without the support of local businesses, non-profit events like this one would not be as successful and we are extremely grateful.
