Circle of Care "True Colors" Masquerade Ball

"True Colors" Masquerade Ball to benefit Circle of Care!

Circle of Care is excited to announce the “True Colors” Masquerade Ball to be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Clinton Country Club. Circle of Care is a not-for-profit organization that provides support to local children with cancer and their families. Our mission is to provide practical and emotional support from the day of diagnosis and all throughout treatment.

Anyone that has been affected by cancer knows the devastating and emotional impact that it can have on the patient and the entire family, and there is an even greater impact when the patient is a child. It is often said that there are three parts to the disease: the diagnosis, the treatment and the emotional aspect. If you can imagine, each one is worse than the other, with the emotional aspect being the hardest of all. The services Circle of Care provides truly make a difference by addressing the emotional issues and helping to provide comfort, care and support to children with cancer at a time when it is needed most. Circle of Care was founded in 2003 by three mothers in Connecticut whose children had recently been diagnosed with cancer.  We have provided more than $100,000 of financial assistance, helping over 200 Connecticut families last year alone.
