The Madison Junior Hose Company No. 1 firefighters will be hosting a popcorn and ice-tea fundraiser this Memorial Day. On Monday May 28th the Town of Madison will be having their annual Memorial Day Parade. This is a time to remember those people who have risked their lives for our freedom. We ask you to also consider the people who help make your local town safe. Protecting your home from a fire or rescuing you from a motor vehicle accident, your local volunteer fire department is willing to risk their own lives for your safety. Please show your support by donating to the Junior Firefighters this Memorial Day.
We will be infront of the Downtown Madison Fire Station at 9:30am selling popcorn and ice-tea for people to enjoy as they watch the parade.
The Junior Firefighters currently have five active members. Their primary purpose is to learn about firefighting and to assist the Senior Department through drills, meetings, and actual fire calls. If you, or someone you know, is interested in becoming a Junior Firefighter, please do not hesitate to contact any Downtown Madison Firefighter for an application. We are always interested in educating new members and getting more teenagers involved with their community.
Thank you for your support,
