Madison Penguin Plunge Saturday, Feb. 18

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THE MADISON PENGUIN PLUNGE

The Special Olympics Connecticut Penguin Plunge in Madison at Hammonasset State Park set for tomorrow has been rescheduled to next Saturday, Feb.18th due to the snowfall that is expected overnight and through the morning on Saturday, Feb. 11th. The decision to postpone the event was made to protect the safety and welfare of those who would be participating and traveling to the event in potentially dangerous conditions.

The Plunge will take place next Saturday, February 18th with registration beginning at 10 a.m. and the Plunge at noon. Individuals may continue to fundraise and register online by going to http://www.soct.org/plunges/
