Winter Tree I.D.

Learn
the tricks of identifying trees in winter by their bark and growth form
on a short walk on the Bauer Woodland Trail.  In the classroom
explore the beauty of their twigs and buds through the microscope. These
intricate structures tell the story of a tree’s past and foretell its
burst into lush green life in the spring. This class will change how you
see trees and connect you with their marvels. An indoor-outdoor
program.  For adults and high school students.  $10
Pre-Registration required:  www.madisonct.org/bauer/programs.htm  or in the Madison Beach & Recreation office at town campus.  Call 203-245-5623 for more information.
