Parade of Pooches on the Madison Green

Eight
Annual Parade of Pooches

Tails are wagging in anticipation of the eighth annual

Parade of Pooches dog show sponsored by the Scranton Library Friends.  All dogs are invited to bring their owners to

the Madison Green on Saturday, September 21, starting at 9 AM. Ribbons will be awarded

in breeds for longest and shortest tails and ears, biggest and smallest paws, tallest

and shortest and oldest and youngest dogs. Breed winners will go to Best in

Show for another round of ribbons. In addition, there will be a best costume,

best pet trick, and owner who most looks like me contests.   Entry fee is just $8 per dog who must be

leashed. All dogs will be awarded a ribbon. This unique dog show helps support

the library and is a fun morning for pooches and owners of all ages.
