MADISON HISTORICAL SOCIETY PRESENTS APPRAISAL DAY

The Madison Historical Society will hold an Appraisal Day on Saturday, October 12 from 10 am to 2 pm at the Madison Senior Center, 29 Bradley Road, Madison.  Expert appraisers including antiques dealer Lewis Scranton (general merchandise), Jeff Cooley of Old Lyme’s Cooley Gallery (fine arts), William Macina (stoneware, paper documents, and general merchandise), and Steven Lutar of Guilford Coin Exchange (platinum, gold, and silver coins and jewelry) will be on hand to answer your questions and appraise items.  MHS board member and art conservator Carol Snow will provide a free "Conservation Clinic" offering advice to collectors on the condition, care, and preservation of their antiques and art objects.

A fee of $10 for one item or $25 for three items will be charged.  Proceeds will help support the Madison Historical Society.
