Jay Ungar and Molly Mason in concert

Describing the greatness of Jay Ungar and Molly Mason is like trying to describe chocolate. You can mention that Jay won Grammy's for his compositions like "The Love's Waltz" or "Ashoken Farewell", the theme for the Ken Burns "Civil War" documentary. The fact that they've been featured soloists for the London Symphony or the Nashville Chamber Orchestra. You can even go into the fact that they've been dedicated educators, virtually inventing the whole "fiddle and dance camp" movement over 30 years ago. None of that adds up to what spending an evening with them is like. In fact, it's better than chocolate. Just to be safe, our usual Ashley's ice cream reception will include some chocolate ice cream, too. Adults $25, kids high school and under, $5.00 http://fireinthekitchen.org for details and reservations!
