Please join us for an Autism Fundraiser on Wednesday, April 16th
from 10am to 8pm at House of Fashion Boutique, 348 East Main Street,
Clinton, Ct.

“We will be donating proceeds to the national organization Autism
Speaks.  There will be various speakers discussing many of the facets of autism,” said Owner Lori
Weingarten.

At 5 pm, a formal program will include Lauren Amendola, from Autism
Speaks, State Representative Noreen Kokoruda of Madison and Selectman
Cindy Cartier of Guilford , who will be addressing resources as well as local
and state assistance available to families with children afflicted with this
disability.  Attorney Raymond Bower of
Cartier & Bower, LLC will be on hand to provide information regarding
financial planning for special needs/disabilities.

“Autism is on the rise and increasing constantly. Today, 20 out of
every 1,000 children born in the United States will be afflicted with Autism,”
stated Weingarten.  “We hope to
contribute to research and finding a cure for this challenging disability
that has affected so many children and families.”
