Sketching from Nature class

Learn a new skill on your day off from school!

Field sketches are quick drawings usually created by pencil and paper that are used by artists as studies for later works of art.  We will look through the collections of local animals in the classroom at Bauer Park and talk about characteristics specific to each group.  Each student will then choose one specimen to closely examine and learn how to do a series of quick drawings that capture the essence of your subject.
