Madison Hoop Dreams
Holiday Festival & February Vacation
'Tis the Season (for basketball)! Based on the popularity of last year's Holiday Festival, we will hold the eighth annual "Hoop Dreams Holiday Festival Basketball Camp" for two days the week after Christmas (December 27th & 28th). It will be from 9 am to 3 pm at the Robert H. Brown Middle School in Madison for grades three through eight. However, if you have a second grader who can play with third graders, they are also welcome. Anyone who has been to my summer camp, Madison Hoop Dreams, or other Hoop Dreams day camps, knows what to expect: skill development, contests, drills, games, and lots of fun. Coaches Bill Barker, Tammy Boris, Madison Boris and Bobby Moore will help each camper improve their skills and love of the game.
In addition, we are offering a basketball camp during the February vacation at the Robert H. Brown Middle School from 9AM to 3PM on February 18 - 22 as a service to parents who are working that week and an opportunity for players who love the game and want to get better There will be daily instruction on all aspects of basketball. Our objective will be to help each player improve their game and to have a week of fun! This camp is for boys and girls in grades 3 - 8.
The cost is $175 /camper for one week. On a daily basis, the cost is $50 for one day. Two days (or two campers for one day) is $90 ($45 per day). Three or four days (or 3 or 4 campers for one day) are $40/camper per day. If you register for all seven days (Dec 27, 28 and Feb 18 – 22) the total is $250 for each camper. Since the camp is limited to 40 campers, I encourage you to register ASAP to be sure of a spot for your son or daughter. There will be a rebate for any snow days. This might serve as the extra gift you were looking to add in the Christmas stocking.
Please have a very safe, healthy, and happy Holiday Season! ( Holiday Season refers to Christmas, Hanukkah, and all other religious celebrations in December and January). How is that for being politically correct?!
With love, Coach Bill Barker
