Take time this fall to
discover more deeply our connections with God’s creation. Enjoy a contemplative
walk along the beautiful shoreline in Madison during the morning session,
followed by the opportunity to view science photographer James Balog’s TED Talk
with stunning photos of the collapse of glaciers around the world. In the
afternoon we will discuss the Church’s engagement with the challenges of the
changing climate as it affects human wellbeing and the whole community of
life.  Participants will receive resources from the Catholic
Coalition on Climate Change and discuss concrete ways to take action to protect
creation and the most vulnerable at home, in parishes and as citizens.
