2013 Hammonassett Festival

The friends of Hammonasset together with Liberty Bank presents the fifth Hammonassett Festival celebrating Nature and honoring Native American traditions and respect for our environment through native music, dance, hands-on demonstrations, environmental and museum exhibits. Featured performers are Erin Meeches Native Nations Dance and Drumming Troupe, World Atlatl (spear throwing) Championships, A Place Called Hope-live raptor shows. Vendors featuring authentic Native American crafts for sale. Entertaining and educational for the whole family. No dogs please.
