• In a move that surprised some observers of Clinton politics, the expected two-way race for the first selectman’s job in the November election turned into a three-way contest at the last minute.

So Daddio took the opportunity to bring Marc for his first visit to Foxon Park. When they pulled up to the warehouse on Foxon Boulevard, Marc told his dad he was surprised at the small building.

• Despite the recent arrests of two men accused of stealing catalytic converters from businesses in Durham, police say the valuable vehicle parts are still being targeted.The most recent incident, according to police, occurred two weeks ago, when someone stole a catalytic converter from a van parked behind 30 Ozick Drive. The industrial park address is home to a division of DirecTV.
