Video: Do You Know Any Ghost Stories?

Here are a few from your own backyard ...

There is no shortage of . Even Hollywood has taken notice of a purportedly true and chilling account of unexplained happenings in The Haunting in Connecticut, which is a fictional adaptation of events that happened in Southington.

And if you've lived along the shoreline long enough, you'll remember that a haunted movie called "Let's Scare Jessica to Death," was filmed here in 1971. The yellow Victorian home used in the movie is still in Old Saybrook on Route 1 across the street from the majority of car dealerships in town. The movie was filmed in parts of Chester, as well. The Chester-Hadlyme ferry can also be seen in the movie.
