The Perfect Gift: Time For Tea

If you're the type who has a hard time deciding what to give, Savvy Tea's "Ultimate" Experience gift pack might be just the thing.

The only difficult thing about shopping at Savvy Tea at 28 Durham Road in Madison can be that there are so many gift options available. Of course, that can be the fun part, too, since it's a great place to browse as you sip your tea or partake of the wide selection of food they offer.

Still, if you're short on time, or don't know much about tea, owners Phil Parda and Judith Guard have pulled together a package of greatest hits that is already wrapped and ready to give.

The package includes an infuser that both Phil and Judy say is the easiest, most effective way to make tea from loose leaves. Brewing loose leaves, of course, is the best way to enjoy the full flavor of high quality tea.

"Whether you're new to tea, or old to tea, this is the easiest and most effective way to deal with loose leaves," Guard says.

Parda says that using the infuser will allow you to get multiple infusions out of the leaves. "You'll drink more tea and get more use out of  your tea," he said.

In addition to the infuser, the package includes tins of Citrus Grove green tea, English Breakfast black tea, Earl Grey black tea, Hibiscus Peach black tea, Rooibus Orange Sunset, White Peony Bai Mu Dan, Matcha Genmaicha, Oolong Phoenix, China Yunnan Golden Tip black tea, and Masala Chai black tea.

The package sells for $124.99.
