Snow Predicted for Madison Tuesday

It probably won't amount to much, but southern Connecticut will most likely see some of the white stuff in the morning.

The National Weather Service is predicting that the Connecticut shoreline will see its second snowfall of the season tomorrow morning.

The service is predicting rain and snow for Tuesday morning before the precipitation turns to rain. No significant accumulation is expected.

There's a 30% chance of snow for Tuesday night, but again, it won't amount to much.

This Afternoon: Mostly sunny, with a high near 45. West wind 8 to 10 mph.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. Light northwest wind.

Tuesday: Snow likely before 1pm, then rain likely between 1pm and 4pm, then a chance of snow after 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 37. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Tuesday Night: A chance of snow, mainly before 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. North wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 37. North wind around 7 mph.
