Saying Goodbye To Those Who Served Us Well

Farewell parties marked departure of Becky Coffey, Bill Gladstone, and others.

The past few weeks have marked the last meetings of several public officials who have served Madison well for many years.

Those leaving elected public office include Board of Education Chairman Becky Coffey, Selectman Bill Gladstone, Board of Finance Chairman Kathy Stahelski, Ron Fiume from the Zoning Board of Appeals, Scott Scherban from the Board of Assessment Appeals, Terry Abbott from the Board of Assessment Appeals, Tom Kelty as a Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate, Kathy Rossini and Peggy Lyons on the Board of Finance, and Anne Foley on the Board of Assessment Appeals.

You'll see some of these people in other elected offices, or as volunteers on other boards, commissions, or organiations in town. And you'll see them in the grocery store, at our schools, and in our neighborhoods as well.
