Plan A Family Field Day!

Some healthy competition right in your own backyard ...

Need to get out of the house but really don’t feel like going anywhere (or spending any money)?

Plan a family field day!

Think up some age-appropriate games, races, or events, perhaps with prizes for winners, and head on outside for a day o’ fun.

Of course, this requires some forethought and planning but a little legwork may result in a lot of legwork, so to speak (moms with tots will appreciate a day of sun and exercise that results in an early bedtime for the kiddos)!

The list of field day ideas is endless (think tricycle racing, scavenger hunts, bubble blowing, obstacle courses, and water balloon tossing) but below are just a few links to get you started.

In fact, why limit it to just your family, invite the whole neighborhood for the ultimate in family staycation fun!
