Nor'easter!?! Nooooooooo!

But Mother Nature says ... maybe ... here's the forecast as of Monday night ...

The National Weather Service is predicted a nor'easter will develop along the mid-Atlantic coast early Wednesday.

"The storm will intensify as it slowly tarkc east through Thursday. Forecast uncertainty surrounds the exact details of how this storm will evolve, but the potential exists for several inches of snow, wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph, minor to moderate coastal flooding, high surf and signficant beach erosion along the ocean facing beaches and twin forks of Long Island."

This could happen sometime between Wednesday through Thursday, the NWS said Monday night.

As of Monday night, Ryan Hanrahan says the forecasting models are "all over the place with this one."

"What a weird storm," he says on his blog. "The midweek nor’easter hasn’t even sent a cloud into New England and it’s already an odd storm. Our computer models have been all over the place with this one ... There’s the potential, albeit still somewhat low, that this could be a high impact storm with significant snow, gusty winds, and coastal flooding. While the glancing blow scenario is more likely the odds of a bigger storm are increasing."

Hanrahan expects forecasters to know more by 10 a.m. Tuesday. Check his blog to find out more.

The good news is that while we wait to find out more on Tuesday, we should hav a sunny day.

Stay tuned to the National Weather Service for the latest forecasts as well.
